Soft Glow of the Past
The soft golden peachy glow of my mother’s settles, the colour of Old lampshades, and antique damasks. It’s not fashionable, It’s old fashioned, yet like a 70’s hessian shade, this colour gives a room, or a person’s skin a beautiful glow. The same colour (and glow) comes from the dye of an alder cone, such as in the natural Plant dyed scarves we have by @juniperandbliss , or the fabulous tea-dyed satin stoles that we have just run out of. I believe our belongings hold their own life and may enhance our lives, with their energy and essence. An animist my friend and former boss lady Tanya Sarne declared herself today, as she purchased a volcanic stone incense burner. We are animists. I believe you will begin to see more of this neglected colour. Mark my crazy words. 🖤...
